Been to most areas of beautiful France but never been to Brittany for reasons being in the summer like going to butlins BUT September on our way to Twin Lakes so thought go end of August and spend few days on one of these so called fantastic campsites in Britany so suggestions please (Needs) near a sandy beach near a village or town pool shop lecci and room for 2 dogs seems to be asking a lot according to the c&m magazines so thought ask the profesionals thanks

We are on an aire in st Louis in southern Brittany and it has everything you ask for.
Repeat, everything on your list.

Not really an answer but beaches near towns are likely to be non-dog in high season. We were in Brittany last week and the dog ban started 15th June.
Brittany isn't a place to go for all the trappings but for beaches try around the Morbihan but there are also some wild ones west of Roscoff and around the Rose Granite Coast. We've been several times to this place (as recently as last week :) ) and there is some great walking in the area but it isn't a big site and was almost full when we were there. For August you would need to book I think and there may be a minimum stay.

We've used this site near Penmarc'h a couple of times, although the more dramatic beach is round the corner at Pointe de la Torche.

I'd recommend the Pink Granite Coast to anybody visiting Brittany but the most practical place to explore it from is the aire at Tregastel. You can use Camping/Spa Le Ranolien up the road but it's a bit out on a limb for the other good bits. The Ile Renote is lovely, and not actually an island.

Sorry, it's Port Louis, not St Louis. Nice town about 10min walk from Aire. Almost on the beach.
