Hi all, any recommendations in Anglesey for a couple of nights. Happy to be on a site. Not too remote with interesting walks or cycling? Thanks

There is a site just through Beaumaris not sure of the name now. Dafarn Rhos at lligwy beach, very nice sea views, might see dolphins. Nice cliff top walk to Moelfre village .

We stayed at Mount View Caravan and Camping a couple of years ago, easy walk into Amlwch either round the coast or directly. Pleasant for a couple of nights. Disused slate quarry nearby which you can walk around, coastal path close to the site and a pub which only serves pies, albeit the best pie I‘ve tasted for years.

Penrhyn Bay is a nice site that I used to go to often when my son was young but I think it has gone posh now.

Edit: scrub that, it's seasonal pitches only now ☹

Living on Anglesey, I don’t stay at any sites here, but if I did I would use the Gadlys.

We stayed here in 2022 and it is an excellent CL easy walk into Benllach and onto the coastal walk to Moelfre
