Not long enough!
The cable ties holding the PV cable to the roof have come loose. I'm thinking that Sikaflex 291i would be the right stuff to re-attach them ( and would be handy stuff to have in the garage). Is any special preparation required? I noticed that one of the most popular offerings on Amazon has all the labelling in German so just want to make sure before I order it

It won't be very handy in the garage once opened shelf life is only a few weeks.
I assume you mean cable tie bases, why not do the job properly and replace them with mini trunking.
291i is well OTT for the job any PU adhesive will do e.g. Pureflex 40 from Toolstation.

Thanks Ian. That's quite helpful but refers to another document for "pre-treatment". It all sounds very complicated for a bit of glue. Can anyone suggest an alternative that's less of a faff?

If you look at the time of your post and my reply you'll see they're identical - so your post wasn't visible to me! Any way, I've read it now so will have a look at Pureflex.
The cable is quite short and isn't straight (OEM fitment) so trunking would be fiddly.

I agree with Lenny, any PU adhesive will do, even Gorilla do a pretty good one which I've used on a number of things around the house and garage.

The cable isn't doing anything structural, so it's only to stop it flopping around in the wind, so Sika is probably OTT for something that will become unusable quite shortly after using a small bit.

Agree with Puraflex 40, just to keep everyone happy it’s made by Sika!
