After several weeks of visits to the dentist to get rid of an abscess and start a bit of root canal treatment we are now less than two weeks away from departure time! It's not over yet. Claire has another bout of the dentists art on Friday to dig about in the root of the one tooth. If that's successful (!) then there's an appointment to fit a crown. All for the cost I might add of 6 full tanks of diesel.
What if we have to change the holiday dates?
I am sure that P&O will be happy to change the ferry bookings for a fee. But what about the apartment? That might be a problem. So I have emailed them and outlined to problem we have with dentistry. To their credit they have come back and said that they should have vacancies in October and November and we can move our booking.
If we can't get a new date then we will simply go and look for aires and campsites. A friend suggested claiming on our annual holiday insurance. The only problem with that is that what we have paid out is less than the excess! So that's a no from me then.
So will we go! But where will we go?
