I am selling my Memo Europe Van-Star E-Cross swinging bike rack. The unit was professionally installed on a Fiat Ducato (Peugeot Boxer/Citroen Relay) van in 2022. This is for the L4 length (6.36m) Ducato/Boxer/Relay only! The bracket fixings differ to those on L1-L3 panel vans and it will not fit those lengths.
Designed and manufactured in the Netherlands this is a fantastic bit of kit and carries two bikes up to 75Kg in combined weight safely whilst pivoting out of the way (safely to the kerb side for UK right hand drive vehicles) in order to access the rear barn doors of the van without any restriction. Once fully pivoted, the swing is held captive so it can’t accidentally move until you want to close it again.
Once you’ve had one of these you’ll wonder how you ever did without it! The bike rack is integrated onto the system rather than hanging off a tow ball - much more robust.
This is the Van-Star E-Cross rated at 75Kg of bikes and not to be confused with the cheaper Memo-Europe Van-Swing unit which whilst also very good, is only rated to carry 60Kg total (ie bike rack + 2 bikes). Given that a decent bike rack weighs at least 15Kg that only leaves 35Kg max for 2 x bikes - not enough for modern E-bikes which typically weigh 30Kg each!
No need for a tow bar for this installation (13 pin power connection is required for the tow lighting bar), the kit bolts directly to the chassis but cleverly, the main ‘swing/rack’ can be slid out of the chassis rails when not being used. The swing/rack is very heavy but it can be done. In our case the swing/rack was removed over the winter months and stored in a garage for protection from the elements.
The whole kit is in very good used condition, there are some slight surface scuffs as would be expected. This is an extremely robust bit of kit and will probably outlast the camper van!
Additionally, the rack can be pivoted through 90 degrees vertically when not in use to reduce overall length, the number plate also rotates through 90 degrees so it can still be seen.
Comes disassembled as shown in the photos. I have the instruction/installation manual as an electronic pdf document.

Due to it’s size/weight this is collection only. I can possibly help with delivery within a 20 mile radius of Winchester, Hampshire but please agree this with me first before bidding.
This kit is in excess of £2000 if purchased new.
Happy to answer any questions you may have.
Thanks for looking.
