When your motorhome parked at home for a while does anyone put their windscreen cover on to stop the sun beaming in daily and bleaching or damaging the interior. ?

I don’t as I am more aware of possibly damaging the paintwork if it is left on too long. I do shut the internal blinds in strong sunlight.
I use the screen more in lower temperatures to stop condensation.

I just shut the remis blinds in the cab and the blinds everywhere else. I used to use the silverscreen but got fed up with it getting wet in our superb English climate.

I do. They are long line so stop all the debris from nearby trees going in the scuttle drain as well. I find the front blinds do not fold back so well if left closed for a while and also they might start to degrade rather like the one on the roof light which is gradually becoming “see through”

I was told to close the blinds but leave them open a little to allow heat buildup to escape inside, and not reflect back onto the window causing excess heat that could warp the plastic...

I do as you do, front screens on.
I raise the blinds on the other windows about 7/8 of the way.
Yes , the covers get wet and have to be cleaned etc. Mine is an X250 so I want to keep water out of the engine bay as much as possible.

Both
External one is a 2nd hand cheapie to throw the water over the scuttle and vents in the bonnet. It’s slowly turning green…..
Internal, always shut them, just habit I guess
