We use both pedal and assisted bikes. Today was feeling lazy, and it is roasting hot.. so an e-bike ride along the coastal path with the cooling N Sea breeze... lovely.. 9 miles of Suffolk coastal heaven..
If you want to visit this area, there are few CLs and also a nice site in Hollesley, Run Cottage, adult only with services.. it's only a short ride down to Shingle Street on a quiet lane ..
Suffolk Coastal is great for cycling of all disciplines, be it road or trail.. with quiet roads, forest, beaches and villages to visit..
not forgetting Sutton Hoo , a nice day out, about 7 miles from Hollesley .. with parking for motorhomes.
Woodbridge is also close, nice market town with lots of interesting shops, and tea rooms, dedicated motorhome parking behind the Deben Leisure centre
You can also get a foot ferry to Felixtowe from Bawsey Quay .. (picture 2 )
any more info please ask..
As you can see, the beach is crowded.
