we have been at black horse farm, cc site, [Kent] last Thursday till Sunday morning, smashing site but best of all we had SUN every day , [rain at night, but who cares] not sun all day, but enough to say to others on site "well glad we come away," now home and its awful, so roll on next away, 27 to 29 Feb. maybe this is going to be my year for good weather, after last year when the rain god hated me, any sun is welcome.:thumb::thumb: George

We were up on the North Yorkshire moors , Friday and night , loads of snow and cold. But lovely and bright and sunny. We went to see Ralph's cross Sat morning . Then on to Pickering no snow or rain . Then over to Dalby forest Sunday , where it stayed fine till lunch then drizzly. When we got home Sunday afternoon , the kids said it had rained all weekend.

We have been very lucky with all our weekends away over the last year. Even though everyone says it was the wettest year for a century. We must just choose the right place at the right time. Lucky.
