RAFFLE AT STRATFORD

We will be holding a raffle at this show to raise funds for a couple of LPG space heaters, so we can heat the marquees during our winter meets.

If you have an item for the raffle, maybe an unwanted gift or prize you won at another raffle or a bottle with something vaguely resembling alcohol please bring it along:thumb:

I have a genuine, certified, Fray Bentos Pie (still in packaging) as used in the very first International World Championship of Fray Bentos Pie Rolling.

This valuable collector's item I will give to the Funsters' Warm Marquee cause... :thumb:

FB pies, what can I say ?

As a collectors item I am sure that the pie on offer from JJ will be viewed as a classic in years to come.
As one who had the immense pleasure of rolling the aforesaid pie and coming 2nd at the Royal Wedding Meet,
I can only say, after actually eating one, that rolling is by far the best use for it

So dig deep and grab yourselves an icon to fine dining

I should have put this on before now.

Don't worry - there will be lots of people coming from Thetford who will have purchased enough shedloads of junk in the Thetford Bash charity auction to furnish the next 100 years raffles! (they won't offer you the good uns like paddock passes for the GB Moto GP and things like that!)

Only please don't let anyone give you Jaws' star item, it is perennial and it must go back to Jaws for next year.
