SNI or Safe Nights Ireland costs £10 to subscribe (or is that 10 Euros?!).....there is no email address to contact, only an address. You then, presumably get a membership card that you show on arrival and places are shown on the website on the map. (not quite like the CLs over here at all...think it can be on someone's drive?? Some have facilities and others, none.
Can somebody help me here?!! Co Limerick is in the Republic of Ireland...can I send a cheque in £'s???
Also, has anyone joined SNI as I would like some opinions, please? :winky: Ana x

Oops...here is the website for you....!! http://www.safenightsireland.com/

Hi Gypsy Rose

I cant say I have heard of this scheme before but then again perhaps MHers are getting more organised in Ireland.

Some of the sites on the map are places that I know and are recognised camp sites but others may be private addresses.

It does say on the membership form that if you have not got a member to recommend you to send a copy of a utility bill.

We normally stay on sites or parked up on land belonging to friends and family so dont know if this would be worth the 10euro.

There are lots of places to wildcamp in Ireland and people are friendly etc.

Regards

Kath & Howie
