We are planning to have some time up in Scotland next year, we`d like to tour around the Shetland Isles and the Orkneys any advice and tips gratefully accepted.
Our M/H is 7.1m so not too large, don`t mind staying on sites with a a little bit of wild camping.

We spent three weeks up there a few years ago, wonderful time. A few sites and loads of places to park up. Your van is the same length as ours and we had no problems though almost all the roads are single track except the spine road, no potholes as I recall. Fuel was a load more expensive but as the Isles are not very big you don't burn much juice. Just remember to let the locals pass.
