i was worried about the data usage from using a mobile, which was why i wasn't really thinking about it, but reading around the forums i have discovered the HUWEI MiFi, so i think i am going to get one of those as it kills many birds with one stone!

i was worried about the data usage from using a mobile, which was why i wasn't really thinking about it, but reading around the forums i have discovered the HUWEI MiFi, so i think i am going to get one of those as it kills many birds with one stone!

Phone uses GPS not Data so no charges. I use a 2nd phone with no sim card in as you may get the odd text message or call when you are wanting to read where you are going. You could also stick the phone in flight mode what turns of roaming, the ability to make/receive calls but still allows sound and GPS.
