Can someone help please ?.

I have I think locked on to Astra 2

But I want to watch the football tomorrow.

I can’t get BBC1 (HD Or SD). But I can get BBC2 HD!.

Are you in UK as if recently in EU could still be on that feed rather than UK feed?

Mine did the same, I retuned then kept selecting BBC channels and then it worked.

This was updated in April so worth checking you have these frequencies etc programmed into your Tv.

Sometimes the Tv sorts the channels in a very unlogical way and may put BBC1 in th middle of the list.
Also make sure your getting signal on all bands and both polarities if you still don't get what is being transmitted.

I had this happen. Found the channels in the end by just keeping scrolling up through the channel list. It’s worth a try

A lot of channels have moved and the TV no longer has the correct settings for certain channels.
The attached file is my own latest update for an Avtex TV only, providing it's software is new enough for the update to be done via USB. If not you would need to contact Avtex directly for an update before you can apply my list.

To apply the list please save the file onto a computer, unzip the file folder, copy the contained file onto the root drive of a USB device, plug into the TV and follow the instructions below:

1, Plug USB into TV (Right hand USB slot if slots on top of TV)

2, Turn TV on in Satellite mode

3, Press “TV setup”

4, Highlight the picture of the satellite and press ok

5, Highlight “advanced settings” and press ok

6, Enter code 0000

7, Scroll down to “Load from USB” (If this option is not listed please call Avtex directly for further assistance)

NOTE: If the option reads “Load to USB” scroll left or right to change

8, Press ok to start the download and when done it will read “Success”

9, Press exit until all menus have disappeared

10, Turn TV off

11, Remove USB

12, Turn TV back on and all channels should now be present

Found the issue and now have more channels but I need to call Avtex next week.

I can’t get C4+ or BBC1 HD

Look at the link I posted earlier in the thread, it gives you all the info on the frequencies etc you need to watch BBC etc. Just enter those into your TV or sat receiver if not already programmed.

BBC One HD has not existed since MArch 2023, so that is why you are not getting it!!!

They are now BBC One "Region Name" HD.

If you have scanned properly then your receiver should have picked up these channels with their new names.
(If you have the option - all decent receiver should - turn on Network /NIT search, as this updates the receiver with any new frequencies it locates on the satellite)

Also, if you have scanned and got BBC Two HD, then you should get the the three other BBC One Region NAme HD channels that share that same frequency. Perhaps lower down in the channel list?

And you should get BBC News HD as this has been on the same frequency since it launched.

Never heard of C4+... Do you mean C4+1? Again, probably means your receiver is not scanning the correct frequency....they moved to a new frequency June 2022 - 10936 V.

Realigning to satellites either side of the three UK Astra 2 satellites at 28 east will not get the missing channels. In fact he will lose all UK channels if aligned to the satellitesat 26 east and 30.5east, both of which are africa and middle east coverage

Only posting this as a back up solution for you satellite people; we use a small mi-fi unit with a sim card from ID mobile, giving us almost unlimited internet. And we use our smart TV to watch any channel we want, via I-Player, ITV, More 4, Netflix and Disney+. Watching like this gives you either live TV or all your programs on demand, and there is no tuning whatsoever; all in HD.
We also have the hotspot enabled on our phone for the times the van's wifi has no mobile phone signal; phone being on a different network, we usually have signal from at least one all the time.
