Just told by fellow camper that the RH daytime light on my Hmyer B580 (3 year old) is not working. Glass has Hymer name, so can it be fixed or do I need a whole headlamp? Thanks for your help.

Have a look at the wiring harness. They are renowned for failure. I think someone on this forum was remanufacturing them to order. I bought two from "The Lazee Camper".

Yep it's the loom I have repaired mine a couple of times.

Thankyou, yes I make new upgraded light looms for the hymer light problems. Simply unplug the old faulty one and plug the new one in, a nice simple fix. I have them on the shelf ready to ship out most of the time now and the price includes tracked 48hr delivery that can be upgraded to next day

£100 for one or £190 the pair

Thank you, I shall have a look under the bonnet to see if I can spot anything else amiss but there seems no doubt it will be the wiring. I will message you after.

Just swap the looms over the fault should go with it.

Lenny that sounds so easy, but it looks like the headlamp has to come out. And to do that it appears the front grill if you can call it that has to come off too as there is not a lot of room on the RHS under the bonnet.

Just 3 socket cap screws hold the headlamp in, 5 min job to drop it out.
