My M/H has two plates in the engine compartment one by Fiat and another by Trigano. The MAM being 3,400kg and 3000kg, could anyone tell me why is the total loading is 400kg less on the Trigano plate, the mechanical parts will be the same.?

PS The Challenger is built on a van platform, not many in this country but the brand is very popular on the continent ( where they notoriously over load their m/hs.)

have a good look on your V5 (log book)

if there is no weights mentioned AT ALL or just the higher one then i'd ignore the lower plate.

the details shown on the V5 are an EXACT copy of DVLAs records so if it aint on the V5 it aint on record at all.

how do i know this ?......

my kontiki has 3 plates....fiat 3500kg, swift 3850kg and alko 3850kg so i rang dvla and asked which was correct......." dunno...you know as much as us"...see above.
