I am looking to renew my MH insurance and Performance Direct are coming in with a competitive price. Has anyone good or bad any experience using these?

Never heard of them in any capacity. When I read the title I was expecting a vehicle performance enhancing company

I insured my car with them for a couple of years. I never claimed, so have no idea how good they'd have been if I had needed to.

I insured Hymer through them a few years ago, never needed to claim, so cannot really comment other than that.

General insurance division of Grove and Dean apparantly and use a variety of firms.

Grove & Dean are usually competitive but don't get any points on your licence or they drop you like a hot potato.

Performance Direct are coming out almost half the price of my other quotes. I used them a few years ago but never made a claim. I guess it's how they deal with claims that counts?
Anyone have any experience of that?
They get very mixed reviews on TrustPilot.
