Departing for sunnier climes on 18 Dec and taking the Eurotunnel.
Thank goodness for TESCO vouchers and wondering if these can be used to cover the cost of taking a dog???
Can anyone recommend a site to overnight between Rouen and Chatres:thumb:

Gunner, thats a bit of a dead spot I have found for aires...
Here are 2 near to Rouen..
One is at Oissel just as you leave Rouen, head into the town and look out for the signs.. Its next to the river BUT only 2 places, however you can carry on down past the parking spots and there is a small dirt area at the end of the no through road. Vans usually park there.
Another is at Pont De la Arche just south of Rouen. 4 places, quiet new aire. Again next to the river... Signed as you get near the town.

After Chartes on the N10 is Marboue, loveley spot but takes about 30 mins from Chartes. This would be my choice. As you drive down the N10 and come into Marboue it's signed with just 1 right turn.

Lucky you!::bigsmile:
A great and very popular aire is just after Chartres at Marboue (as Tonka said) adjacent to the N10.
