Overnight parking Portsmouth (1 Viewer)

We are sailing on 7th Jan 11.45 am to Bilbo is it ok to park overnight at the port ? And do you have to pay ? :)

In our experience no we just pull in and you are normally directed to a waiting area. (Haven't used Portsmouth for years though.) I'm sure someone will be along with recent info.

We parked on the port overnight in October ,because we arrived very early the previous day we parked in the park and ride and spent the day looking around portsmouth and then drove to the port about 5pm for the next day's sailing. There will be a lot of other cars and motorhomes parking overnight for the mornings ferry.

Yes park in the lines for your ferry, you are not allowed in to early if other ferries are still loading etc, we had to go out once and come back after 11 o'clock, the other thing to remember if your ferry is early thats to set an alarm we got knocked up once to find all in front had gone through lol, enjoy.
