These guys rolled up on the the Stellplatz we’re on tonight.
Not heard of Lanz. Anyone know anything about them?

Usually a girt big single cylinder engine that makes the tractor oscillate front to back on tick over !
Think there's a video on YouTube of someone setting the timing so the piston just strokes back and forward without passing top or bottom dead centre, essentially the engine's running but not doing any full revolutions !

Guessing it’s a 2 stroke is it? Blows lovely smoke rings on tickover.

I would have loved to run a tractor and sleeping van and tried going through the tunnel with it but I think the time has past me by now.

Yeah they were called Lanz bulldog and very popular in their day in Europe, still lots about over there.
