You need to get them hot. Some have success with hair dryers or heat guns. I prefer to use hot water, as there is little chance of getting anything too hot. Once the decal is heated it is normally possible to get a finger nail under a corner and start to gently pull it away. Keep the heat going if the decal resists.
Once removed the adhesive needs to also come off. Try turps or WD40.
