18th July for me via the Tunnel. Hired Swift 730 to watch the Alpine Stages of the Tour De France. Four nights wilding on the Col Du Glandon (I hope) and chilling out. Cant wait!!

We are not long back from touring west coast of France for 6 weeks. Brilliant weather too.

We're off next Monday through the tunnel. 3 weeks Normandy/Loire valley/La Rochelle etc. Cant wait! Will be looking out for Funster stickers!

We've been here for the last 3 1/2 weeks and still have another 1 1/2 to go. Started in Normandy then along the Loire valley across to Brittany. Start heading north on Tuesday back to Calais via Normandy. Weather mixed but mainly dry so can't grumble other than having problems topping up suntan. We're back for another 4 weeks in August so will just have to open another bottle and try and improve the tan. It's a hard life being retired but someone has to do it.

Well, so far so good, we've made it from Calais to just outside Mont-St Michel on a nice little ASCI site. Time to go find food and vin rouge me thinks, can't be arsed to cook...

It is lovely to read how you are all excited and love France so much . I was just discussing yesterday how we had the same feelings as you all but now it us just ' home ' after 11 years . Don't get me wrong would not want to live anywhere else but I miss that feeling of excitement !!
