netbook cd/dvd player

    just found out

    when i bought my toshiba netbook it came with win 7 starter
    which is stripped of some usefull bits

    didnt realize till i got the tosh out been unused since last chrimbo
    (mac chrimby present 2010)

    just thought i would watch a dvd via the liteon external cd dvd player
    (like a cd player)

    the liteon came with nero 8 didnt realize 30 day trial
    oh yes i can buy a full version
    just got annoyed that in effect i purchased a cd player good for 30 days
    after that dig in your pocket

    thats exactley the bit missing from win 7 starter
    windows player
    well on this netbook anyway:Eeek:

    cant work out why you dont get lifetime working software with a piece of hardware

    Sometimes you just can't get rid of the sh 1 t that comes with them, bought my wife a Dell netbook, it had free 30 day trial of Mcafee preloaded, we didn't want it and tried to delete it, took 12 months of deleting reminders and offers from Mcafee before finally got some respite from their marketing:Angry:
