Can anyone recommend somewhere I can get an mot and 'short' service for my dethleff globe4. I live near Cambridge, so anywhere withing easy reach of that.

Hya mate, you may get some helpfull answers if you tell people what your base vehicle is.
i,e fiat merc, ford, etc

i use a local Fiat professional garage i.e. one that services trucks and vans... short service and basic checks £150 Mot £40.

look up the nearest and give them a call.

eg... EMG Cambridge on the Milton road just off the A10/A14 junction. Postcode CB4 1SR.
