My Peugeot 2.0 Euro 6 currently has Shell Helix Ultra Professional AP-L 0W-30.
The Specifications, Approvals & Recommendations for this state:
ACEA C2
PSA B71 2312

I can get 2 x 5 litres of the MANNOL 0w30 Fully Synthetic Engine Oil for a smidge over £36 delivered on ebay HERE with a 10% off code applied.

Obviously the price is great but is it suitable and how does it compare to the Shell Helix?

Personally, if I was within manufacturers warranty and/or following the variable time / distance computer based algorithm (i.e. up to 2 years 30k) oil changes I would use an oil that was PSA 'approved' to meet B71 2312 (for example Total Quartz Ineo First, Castrol Magnatec Stop Start C2, Petronas Syntium 7000, Fuchs Titan GT1 Pro, etc). I would then choose the cheapest option that meets the spec.
However I typically cover less than 6k miles annually and choose to change the oil and filter annually so would be very happy to use an oil 'recommended' by the oil supplier as meeting PSA B71 2312 (based on a meaningful cost saving versus approved oils). Typically these are smaller suppliers that would not go down the PSA approved route due to high costs, for example Comma, Millers, Mannol etc. I would be perfectly happy to use Mannol Legend Extra 0w30 for an annual oil change at my mileage. I will still use a Genuine OE oil filter or Purflux LS995 oil filter on my 2020 year van however. AFAIK they are the exact same filter, except the Genuine OE filter has Peugeot/Citroen logo and part number painted on the casing.

I’ve got Fuchs for my 2014 X250 2.3 150bhp because for the first five years it was serviced by Fiat Professional and I discovered that’s what they used.
