Greetings All,

We have received a renewal invite from the AA for our house and it's contents of £129+

Went onto a comparison site (via Quidco) and guess what? The cheapest Insurance after upping the building and contents cover was the AA at £83. WHY!!!

So we went with another Company who for 80P MORE THAN that (See what I did there?) gave better cover (60 days away,+ emergency cover) and I'm taking SWMBO to the flicks as a pair of cinema tickets are included in the deal.:thumb:

Lesson to be learned. DO NOT ACCEPT RENEWALS!!!.

WE were quoted over £600 for our renewal with Prudential, who we've been with for years. Hit the comparison websites and got better cover for £200.
The only reason we kept renewing was because the renewal date always came up when we were away, so we changed that too.
