Took my MH out today for a run. A warning light has come on. I do not have a owners handbook so I couldn't find what it is. The vehicle is a 1999 Ducato 2.8 jtdi. The warning light looks like a fuel or water container. can any one tell me what it is please.

Screen wash or maybe fuel filter water trap full?

If it looks like an oil can (red light) it is a low oil pressure light; if it looks like a fuel tank with water half way up (amber light) it's water in diesel.

"water in diesel filter" light looks like a half empty Jerry can. You should be fine to drive home but it needs sorted. Probably needs a new filter fitted as well. That it has water in it suggests it hasn't been changed for a while.
