Hello.

I've had a 35 year break from the joys of what used to be called camper vanning (6volt, split screen and 8 track player), so I'm either an old newbie or a new oldie, not sure which, but I'm a definite newbie to this forum. The time is almost upon us when we want to return to 'freewheeling' and independent living, but boy have things changed in the motorhome world.

I'll be posting some naive and no doubt downright daft questions in the beginners section shortly, but I thought I would first say hello and that I am looking forward to the challenges ahead.

As for the split screen VW, at the time I appreciated its beauty but not its value, whereas now..... Ah well.
