Hi Folks,

I am counting down the days till the first trip to France. Sooooo exciting!!!:france::france:

Just need to pick your brains one more time (I promise!)......:Blush:

We are looking for beam deflectors, as required for continental travel, for Hella 90mm halogen headlights. Any info please? The suppliers I can find don't seem to provide them for these lights.

You may not be able to get beam benders to suit your specific vehicle. this is not uncommon.

Just buy the deflectors from Halfords as suggested above. The last ones I bought were called beam benders and I bought them from the market.

You may need to fiddle about a bit to get them in the right place before you stick them on but thats life.

Thanks for the help folks.

I now know that Beam Deflectors will not work on Hella headlamps. On most units, however, it is possible to loosen three screws, rotate the unit slightly, and then retighten. This has the effect of providing "continental" dip pattern.

Hella in Banbury were very helpful, they provided detail on exactly what I had to do on my lights, their technical advisor was really good
