Hi again,

Currently in Amboise, we had planned two nights but having done the town and Chateau Clos Luce, we might have made the best of it and therefore looking for something else a couple of hours a way as we head broadly in the direction of Diepe.

We could cycle to Tours maybe...

So, we have seven days to get home, where would you go...?

(Also have 12v problem so would need EHU at some point)

How about Chaumont sur Loire where this year's international garden festival is still on. We are not mad keen gardeners but the festival gardens there are usually quite quirky and interesting even to non gardeners and in addition to the competition gardens there is a lot to see including the chateau itself, the impressive stables and the chateau grounds.

The chateau is within walking distance of the campsite, which I believe is open until the end of September.
