Hi. We came back last week and the cheapest price we saw was 113.9 euros which is cheaper than £116.9. However, even 116.9 euros, which we frequently paid, is better than pounds.

I paid 1.15Euro/l at a supermarket in Faremoutier (nr Paris) on Tuesday evening. The St Hilaire Shell service station on the northbound A26 towards Calais was 1.27E/l on Wednesday. This is the same price as Rely service station on the opposite side.

Simply put, French Diesel is about 17-18% cheaper than ours (providing you use their Supermarket prices.)

At that discount, it's a no brainer.

What would happen if a garage offered diesel over here at that price? There'd be queues miles long.
