    To stop a lot of the banner and other ads on websites install Adblock Plus. Its a plug in and works very well, even on ebay.

    It does not stop the sponsored links so you will still see some ads but at least these are not for porno or have malicious links.

    It is indeed excellent... :thumb: also works great with Chrome

    To kill unwanted banners and site ads ..

    * mouse over ad, * right click , * click on "Block Element" ..

    you can do this with any banner, ad or element you don't went/need to see including smilies.. :Laughing: :thumb:

    The big bonus for me (on slow broadband) is that it speeds up page loading
