Had a rattle which I fixed, so I thought I'd post details in case others have the same.
On rough roads the van developed a rattle, apparently around the front somewhere. Looked all round, at first could not see anything.
I then looked under the RHS front wing. There was a piece of plastic hanging loose, and obviously rattling in some circumstances.
By comparison with the other side I worked out that the plastic is a sort of sheath that covers the lowest ring of the main spring.
Tried to push it back into place - at first it wouldn't go.
Then jacked up the front to spread the spring, and the sheath neatly fitted back in place.
Its still there several hundred miles later, and the rattle has gone. Why it came loose in the first place (maybe it always was a bit loose??) I don't know.
