EML And limp mode (1 Viewer)

Hi our Peugeot boxer L3h2 engine management light stuck on and in limp mode
Started when the DPF filter flashed but that has cleared itself now but the EML and limp mode is still on
We are stuck on a campsite in Spain worry about driving it
Spain don’t seem to have mobile mechanics we just need a diagnostic Machine to tell us what is wrong
Not taking to a garage for them to have for a few days to do a full Investigation and get ripped off
Not easy as I am disabled and have special equipment in the van so need it do not want to be put up in a hotel
Have tried turning the engine on and off three times, disconnected the battery, reseated ECU lfuses
European assistance are supposedly helping us but we have to keep chasing them, second day now
Does anybody have any advice or help please

You could try looking for local "Mecánico móvil" or "taller movil" they should have an obd11 reader and be able to get you code and clear codes and turn off eml see if it stays off .

On some intermittent faults it can take six start and short runs for it to clear.

Do you have breakdown cover? If yes use that. They will send someone to you.

Yes RAC European assistance but they will only send a recovery vehicle, there are no mobile mechanics here
Got an apt early tomorrow morning in town for a diagnostics, it’s def something to do with emissions husband said
Thanks everybody yes we have tried all of the above, it’s still on
It’s going to somebody who knows about Peugeot’s so will know more tomorrow morning
So frustrating as we should’ve been in Portugal four days ago looking at land and houses
At least the campsite we are on is lovely

the dpf light gives a clue.it probably needs either an italian tune up, if you can get rid of the limp mode, or the dpf manually regenerated to clean it.

I cant help with your problem, but because of your trouble I have added a OBDII reader to the already comprehensive toolbox in the mh garage. They are cheap enough and not heavy.

I did the same and its still in the packaging and I hope it stays there
