Hi all, looking at touring the east coast in May, was thinking of starting at Scarborough and going up to Berwick, anyone got any recommended sites ?
I believe Dunstan Hill is nice, we cycle everywhere so close to a village is good.

We liked Hooks House Farm at Robin Hood’s Bay, walk direct into the village, then Whitby Caravan Park. for the views of the sea and Abbey.
Alnwick Rugby Club easy to cycle into Alnwick for the Castle and gardens.
The whole coast is wonderful, worth going a little further south for the nesting sea birds including puffins at Flamborough Head.

We frequently go to 'Beadnell Bay' Campsite
Beautiful site 100 yards from a beach (just across the road) and magic fish n chips from a local van :)

Hi, we went along the North East coast up as far as Edinburgh starting in mid Jan 23 for just under a month. Here's a list of some of the places we stayed.
Shaws Trailer Park, Harrogate (to visit a relative in Harrogate before the coast)
Springhill Farm, Seahouses
Maguires Country Park, East Ord, for Berwick-upon-Tweed
Caravan and Motorhome Club site, Edinburgh
Greensfield Moor Caravan Site for Alnwick
Durham Amateur Rowing Club, Durham
Shawn Riggs Caravan Park, Ruswarp, for Whitby
South Cliff Holiday Park, Bridlington
Bluebell Inn, Whaplode St Catherine, Lincs. as a stop over.
We narrowed our search to "open all year" sites because of the season, so this limited our options. Hope this helps.
