Has any Funster paid a visit to this site, just above La Rochelle. We'd appreciate any advices.
We're thinking of a "toe in the water" trip to this site ,plus another at Montsoreau (we've had good reports on this one )next Spring.
Any advices would be welcome.

Du Jard,,,we went there in august 2012, lots of trees, had to sweep the massive leaves and pigeon poo away every day, pigeons in every tree, we couldn't leave the chairs out overnight as they were covered in poo. we had to go out in the morning and hit the trees with an hammer to get rid of the damn things we even bought a BB gun..

They even dropped it it on your plate while eating out at night.,,,and static caravans right opposite the pitches we had was very oppresive .. we booked through the caravan club. It's the reason why we now never pre book if we have to pay upfront. we would have moved but wanted 2 pitches together. nicer site about 200 metres above it. la tranche sur mer is a nice area though.
