We are looking at travelling down after the August bank holiday for a month and are considering Eastern France down to Provence and the Cote d azur.
I've read a few threads recommending Lake Annecy, Verdon Gorge and Port Grimoud but are there any other suggestions for places to visit and Campsites/aires that would suit us and a 7 year old Lab ?
Probably won't take bikes as its difficult with the dog so ideally would like places of interest with nice towns or villages, water and walks for the three of us.
