Day Sites (2 Viewers)

I seem to recall one of the organisations had a list of sites that you could book for a day-time hire to have a break and not stay over-night - anyone any ideas - or did I just imagine this!

Are you maybe thinking of the CCC's stop-offs, where you can stay for a 3 hours, use the loos, showers, laundry (if available!) etc for £7.65
If so, phone the site direct if you can as I have experience of being allowed to do this at sites where "the book" says they don't offer it
One that I've used has a specific parking area for these stops; another let me stay on their 'visitor' car park all day, it was closer to the amenity block, reception, cafe and shop than any of the pitches!

HERE is a link showing all of those sites plus some others but you can filter on the C and CC sites to see only those

I think most sites will permit a day long stop over.
You pay the 'guest' fee

Also most sites will permit you to leave late (like 6-7pm) or arrive early (like 9-10am) for an extra fee and by prior arrangement.

We have used all these options in the past, not been turned down by a site yet.
Some charge, some dont.
(Although I'd understand different levels of co-operation in high season when the place is nearly full)
