Campsite near madrid (1 Viewer)

Can anyone please recommend a campsite, with good facilities near, or preferably just south of Madrid. We are starting our FIRST trip back to the UK on the 8th December, and want to stop near Madrid, then Bilbao for the ferry. We intend to stay in the port for night 2, and rough camp. All for the experience. We have our little dog with us!

I can recommend Camping Internacional at Aranjuez, south of Madrid. It is open all year and is an ACSI site.

I agree with Brisey, we have stopped at Aranjuez, a beautiful place with a palace and pleasant gardens etc.
A good rail service takes about 40 minutes to centre of Madrid .
Toledo to the west of Aranjuez is also an historic place well worth visiting !
