I’ve just enquired about a pitch at Searles, Hunstanton, they have some autumn deals for 4 night break ( Monday to Friday) at £10 per night, which is great if you haven’t got a dog or tow a car.
An extra £4 per night for the dog and £5.50 per night for the car
I’ve asked if they charge caravan for the car

They Have answered with car charge is because of their insurance, BS I think

We helped on a site years ago, they charged £2 per dog but that was for the whole stay, not per night and they had miles of mowed walks and poo stations with bins and bags.
Manic (Nick) mowed the walks and emptied the bins…..pooo!
Site shut, all wedding stuff now!

I've done the spring and autumn cheap nights before, did it in march this year.....cant recall seeing any dogs on site now you mention it

I don’t know but if they don’t want dogs on site why not just say no dogs rather than take the p***

the £4 for the dog is a bit steep, probably because they prefer not to have dogs and this will deter, especially the ones who have a pack of 3 or more

£5.50 for a car makes no sense.. other than extracting more money

Just had a reply from my brother who goes at normal times, yes they charge all year for dogs and extra car
And a maximum of 2 dogs
