Thought I'd post this up as we were there last October:

    Camping Eienwäldli in Engelberg

Very nice but not cheap Swiss campsite in the small Alpine village of Engelberg. The site is connected to the hotel so you can use (at extra cost) the indoor swimming pool and wellness centre, pretty good if you go late in the year as we did. The site is small and has a good shop and is only a 20min walk into the town on either the road or via a small path along the riverside. Site is flat and has specific camper van pitches, also some for caravans and tents. Very good play park for children with a shallow (2ft deep) pond that is made for rafts that the children can use, pretty cool and the children enjoy this.

River is next to the site and there's plenty of walking on riverside paths as well as some forest paths as well. Golf driving range next door that's open to the public as well as a landing spot for paragliders (2000m decent !)

Really nice place and we'll be going back but only for short trips as it isn't France prices and you certainly are reminded that you're in CH when you get the final bill.....
