Camos Satellite System (1 Viewer)

I fear I may know the answer but you never know your luck…
We inherited a Camos satellite system (dome, dish and control unit) on a Dethleffs that we bought last year. The vehicle is 3 years old but I’m pretty sure that the satellite system is older. Anyhow, it worked until March this year and when we next used the vehicle it didn’t. It doesn’t seem able to findAstra 28 for FREESAT and the ‘lock’ light that used to come on doesn’t any more.
Any advice gratefully appreciated asi have yet to find a dealer who is able to help me. Possibly a software upgrade? Help! Thank you in anticipaction.

Our tracvision dome lost signal earlier this year and we had to get update installed.

Good question. Tried in multiple locations in UK mainly in the open.

Make sure you’re on the flat (or near enough) - ours didn’t have auto skew and was fine 95% of the time - the only times I had difficulty were when the van wasn’t level, under tress, or near a large building or mountain!

Sorted, eventually. I disconnected Everything and after reconnection the system settled to Astra2_N which shows how old the box is. In any case it’s now working. (Located in Wiltshire)
