A new European directive begins 1st April this year for all vehicles over 3.5 tons, must have a "blind spot mirror" retrofitted, in addition to your normal rear view and wide angle view mirrors......At the moment it doesn't mention motorhomes but I wonder how long it will be.
What do you think do we need them?

Blind angles

I found that I needed them anyway:RollEyes:. My fitted mirrors are woefully inadequate when, for example, joining a motorway. I can see nothing that is in the next lane but behind the window view unless it is nearly level with my rear or further back. I've fixed 3" concaves on the lower outer side of the mirror and an internal to cover what is still blind.
What I would really like are a couple of those coach mirrors that sweep forward and hang downwards. They'd be really good I think:Cool: - but I'm not trading just to get a pair of flashy mirrors.::bigsmile:
