Hello again to all those friends out there.....I have been away for some time and not posting. Hardly even had the time for an occasional visit to the site! Still have our Adria Vision which has been quietly waiting on the driveway for an outing for some considerable time - maybe even later this summer, who knows!! :ROFLMAO:

Anyway, hi to those I've known a long time and to the many new members I don't - I'm sure we'll meet online or perhaps even at a rally somewhere, sometime.

Only this week I was thinking the same thing Paul... even went to look at some members profiles to see when they were last active .. perhaps forum fatigue sets in ? .. who knows..

Thanks for the kind words, those who have replied. Life has had some twists and turns over the past few years, as it does sometimes, and motorhoming reluctantly had to be put on the backburner. :Eeek: I think we have the lowest mileage Adria Vision of its generation  but I start it up regularly and need to give it a good wash again (the roof and the algae remain a complete pain, however long you have been motorhoming!!)and it sits patiently waiting for the somewhat delayed next holiday......

John...good to see Bruno still around!:thumb:

ScotJim - on to an Intel Mac now!! Bemused about the iPad but nonetheless considering one!!! Gadgetmania is difficult to cure!!

Haganap, hope you're still happy with the Adria...

Dylan, hope the campsite has been doing well for you.

Wildman, I passed the full licence but my Icom IC7000 lies silent at present as I haven't got an antenna up. Hoping to get organised when my contract comes to an end this summer, although I may get another one even further away from home :roflmto:

I find myself thinking about the early days of this forum and the little group which has expanded to an astonishing 11000+ and wonder how many of the "originals" are still around and how many have vanished.....maybe we can have a reminiscing thread!!!!

I've had a contract many miles from home so have spent hours and hours travelling, living away from home and working 24/7 on a troubleshooting exercise for the past 10 months in the private healthcare industry - boring I know, but it certainly has kept me away from my usual leisure pursuits and our beloved motorhome!!!!:ROFLMAO:

New addition to the vehicle fold is a rather nice toledo blue BMW X5 as my poor old Rangie was knocking up the miles second to none, and I'm now a convert to BMW having always sworn I would never touch let alone drive, one!!!! Pics will follow once I find my way around here again!. :thumb:

Welcome Back Laurie.....

Seems so long ago since the infancy of this site...As you Say.

I must admit I was impressed by the BMW build....

Me......I've just bought a Volvo for the same reasons......the economy.....build quality.....and safety features.

Time to enjoy the motorhome now eh...:thumb:

Good to have an original member back.
