Awning rail

    This might be a completely stupid question but hey ho here goes-- Can a m/h be fitted with a awning rail to accept a normal caravan porch awning or does the height difference or whatever make this a nonsense idea.
    Will never be offended by any answers if I am being ridiculous

    Not stupid at all.
    We have a length of caravan awning rail Sikaflexed to the side of our van so we can use a Kampa Rally awning.
    We went for this solution instead of using the slot in the edge of our wind out awning because one end wall of the Kampa awning would have ended up right in the middle of our garage door and the other end would have stopped the hab door opening properly.
    This way we can position the awning to exactly where we want it.
