Just had a photo reminder of this, thought it might be worth sharing

We had our MH valeted in 2021 about this time ready for use having been used very little the previous year

First time away after clean, as we normally do, we put up our safari room, I know, we are in a very small minority there šŸ¤”šŸ˜

Wound out the awning revealing a bit of missed cleaning , there was a green band about 15mm wide where our Omnistor awning rail over laps the housing when closed

Valeter was mortified when I sent him a photo and he now opens all awnings to clean that bit, it is very easily missed, but very obvious when opened, especially when the rest is very clean šŸ‘

There are many ways to remove these stains from your RV awnings, you can treat by 303 Aerospace Protectant, a quality protectant that can keep away the mold and mildew from staining the awning.
