Does anyone know if the usb on our old Avtex tv has enough power output to run a fire stick via an adapter please? The firestick needs 5 amps I think, and the adapter is available here
Amazon product ASIN B00Z9TWIIYBut reviews say it needs a lot of power. We don’t have any sockets near the tv, but I thought we may take the firestick with us in the motorhome. Thanks!

Update: the power lead supplied has a usb connection, & that works on our house tv, so I can just try it in the van (when the van is back from the Peugeot dealer - another story!) & don’t need an adapter! Will let you know when I get round to it!

very late update on this thread (via Jim very useful link to my threads!) - Firestick works very well with tv, powered from tv USB.
