can any one tell me:
How to delete files from a memory stick without using a computer

When I bought it I was told I could record a program and then put the TVs on standby
After a little over a year I have been unable to do either ! !

The only way as far as I know is with a PC, Unless the TV has a format function but that will erase the whole usb drive.
I thought you could only play back pre recorded material on an avtex.

No mate.. You can record from the built in tuners ( either terrestrial dtv or built in satellite one )

Shortly after we bought it I mentioned the delete thing to a fun steer at a meeting.. He popped in the van, deleted what I wanted deleted but I was errrrrrr.. Let's say several shots in to a Sambuka bottle.. So canna remember exactly what was done ! !

Can you not just record over what is on it already as that would delete existing recording I’m only making a suggestion as I’m not to sure about it?
