Auto-clutch retro fit (1 Viewer)

Has anyone fitted or had fitted an auto clutch to their van?
What are they like to drive?
Is take off from stationary smooth etc?
What are the generally like to live with day in day out?
I have read the leaflets and the websites, but I would like to hear it from users rather than the suppliers or manufacturers.

Was parked next to a van that had one fitted, the driver had very little use of left leg and could only just about drive without it but he seemed to get on OK with it.

He said that you had to make certain that the person who fitted it knew what they where doing. He had used one company to fit and though it worked reasonably well, was not perfect. He had found another company who had worked on it and they had made it a lot better, and now he liked it.

Sorry can't help with company names as I was not thinking of having one fitted, and was only talking to the chap in passing.
