I’ve just created a workaround for it, well to activate External Start but not fully control all the functions remotely. The External Start basically allows you to turn on the Alde remotely and the last settings set before switching off is activated.

Alde designed this feature to enable boat and motorhome hire companies to hide the panel in a locked cupboard and simply put a switch for the end user to switch on and off which activated the Alde for hot water and a heating temperature of say 20°c.

I used a low power 12v Wi-Fi relay and a 2.54mm KF2510 connector. 12v to 12v supply in the motorhome and COM and NO to the connector and put it into a project box. Connect to the Ext on the back of the Alde panel.

I forgot to say a prerequisite is to have Wi-Fi in the motorhome.
