Hi Richard ..take it you are on a jolly on a canal... how come you weren't on the loch gate... making your better half do the work and do that...looks painful...
Nice photo from canal in Manchester ...
Always fancied doing something like that..

She'd rather do the locks than have anything to do with the boat, mind you I do climb out of the lock for the uphill ones,do the paddles, let myself out, close the gate behind me whilst she's opening the gates at the next lock, good team work.
So even with a squashed finger 27 locks and ten miles yesterday. We both slept well! easy day today down the Macclesfield canal and NO locks (y)
All done on Tesco points!

Please pardon me for posting 'two' photo's of this grand old lady of the skies, XH558 on one of her final flights, this afternoon over East Midlands Airport. She came in from the east, turned about and then passed right over the top of us with that famous 'howl'. Simply magic!

Seated in Houston airport just about to start a 20 hour journey home, sad to be leaving our 3 beautiful American grandsons but we have had a great visit.

Know the feeling our three grandchildren also live in Houston. We were over there in January, and returning next January. When we were there we had a few days in New Orleans at the Mardi Gras which was great.

This was Mrs Mental 2nd charity event, last was 2 years ago, equally successful for cancer. This for children's liver disease (our niece suffers from it). Wife in red and blue sari:) I'm sitting with stick and a sprained ankle:unsure:

where she gets the organisation skills and energy from God knows..she would give @old-mo a run for his money!:D

After expenses: catered food, decorations, drink, hall hire, Bollywood choreographer. The event raised £2500

my £10 worth of raffle tickets..won me a bloomin book on the Karma Sutra:Eeek: I wanted the £75 meal for 2 in the gastro pub:cry:

£2,500 raised! That's just stunning! And what an amazing event. I know I haven't been to any FUNSTER rallies yet, but I don't think I've ever seen so many people ALL having SUCH a good time :D
Congratulations Mrs Judgemental!
